      PhiloVision

This workshop prepares the attendee/s to live with purpose and intention – by design, not default. Since the release of the 2006 book (and film) The Secret, that explains the law of attraction, vision boards have grown in popularity. A vision board is a collage of visual images or words that represent the life each one of us wants to live, like a dream board. Quite literally, it is a tangible representation of the vision each one holds within them. A philolLife coach guides the participant/s to assess their self-limiting beliefs related to each area of their life. The coach questions the goals and helps the attendee/s to visualize their goals and make sure that their choices are not serving any limiting-belief. It can be handmade—think old-school magazine cutouts on a bulletin board. What matters is that it is manually and personally created (no one else can do it for you), and that it excites the person creating it when looked at. It can represent an individual’s vision for a specific area of their life (i.e., your career), or can focused on life in general. Through different sessions this workshop will aim for creating the vision, capturing the vision, keeping the vision, embracing the vision, living the vision and expanding the vision.

      Expected learning outcome:

      • Identify personal self-limiting beliefs stopping you from achieving your goals.
      • Transform your self-limiting beliefs

      • Identify personal goals in every area of your life

This workshop’s concept is philosophically based on the fact that Epictetus the slave, Marcus Aurelius the emperor and Seneca the power broker and playwright, are three radically different men led radically different lives. But they seemed to have one habit in common: Journaling. Writing on a regular basis focuses the mind, makes the person aware of connections that they might otherwise have forgotten. It’s not a substitute for memory, but rather a way of forcing each person to put the scattered memory fragments together. An individualized writing therapy will allow every participant to write down his thoughts about disturbing issues, beliefs, future vision, self-confidence etc. Analyzing written pieces around specific well-being topics during the workshop will allow each attendee to dive into an ocean of emotions and memories capable of allowing the attendees to discover themselves and the blockages which are the reason behind any distress or feeling of dissatisfaction. It is a fun, enlightening and evolving experience that highlights the need to keep a personal/philosophical journal and keep on writing…

                Expected learning outcome:

                • Understand the importance of keeping a journal and learn how to use writing to reflect on wellbeing and happiness state.
                • Use writing as a coping strategy to deal with stress and unresolved situations.
                • Learn to let go and forgive through writing
                • Identify self-limiting beliefs through the written expression of thoughts and ideas

                • Write about your vision of the future

This course is tailored to each person who feels unhappy, lost the joy of life, feels demotivated, drags themselves out of bed everyday and all they want is to sleep and be left alone. Stoicism emphasizes that the key to a good, happy life is the cultivation of an excellent mental state, which is identified with virtue and being rational. Discussing happiness from a philosophical point of view is the key to finding a personal vision of the world which goes hand in hand with who we are instead of what we are supposed to be.
