Relationship Issues

Fulfilling and supportive relationships don’t come automatically. They require good social skills and a great deal of work, time and energy to stay strong and go the distance. Sometimes our most meaningful connections break down, for whatever reason, leaving us feeling lonely, disappointed and unsure of ourselves. In some cases, our relationships may not be meeting our expectations, which can, in turn, impact our happiness and life satisfaction. Relationships can be very one-sided and if the two people are not seen as equals, problems can occur. For others, they may crave companionship yet find them very difficult to come by.

Humans are naturally very sociable. We enjoy the company of others and crave positive interactions and meaningful friendships. To some extent, good relationships are just as important for our survival as food and water, which can explain why when our relationships suffer, our health and happiness is also affected.

How is the STEPS Program customized for an individual?

First, a comprehensive health analysis is performed using the Health-O-Meter assessment, that takes into account all the factors involved in contributing to health imbalances. Experts from relevant fields perform evaluation regarding personality type, contributing stress factors, core beliefs, coping ability and mechanism, lifestyle, sleep quality, laboratory investigations, body type and body structure. A compilation of these expert opinions generates the Health-O-Meter report that helps decide the selection of appropriate therapies to be employed, set health goals to be achieved and a treatment timeline. Periodic reassessments are done and treatments adjusted accordingly by the expert team to ensure the individual is on the right healing path till a balanced health state is achieved.
